Shipping policy

This Shipping & Delivery Policy describes how Royalhub Products (OPC) Private Limited (CIN: U47912HR2024OPC121475, GSTIN: 06AANCR6322C1ZJ), operating the brand Vedic Crystals®, ships and delivers physical products to customers in India and internationally. This Policy forms part of, and should be read alongside, our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.

1. Order Processing & Despatch Timelines
Order processing time is the time between order confirmation and handover of the shipment to our courier partner. Our processing timelines vary by product category:
- In-stock loose gemstones, rudraksha, malas and yantras: Processed and despatched within 1–3 business days of order confirmation.
- Custom gemstone jewelry (rings, pendants, earrings, bracelets): Processing time varies based on design complexity, typically 7–21 business days from the date of your written approval of the allocated gemstone (see clause 8.1 of our Refund Policy). Customised jewelry timelines are confirmed individually at the time of order.
- Energised products (pran-pratishtha): Energisation is performed within 1–2 business days of order confirmation, after which the standard processing timeline applies.
- Paid certification upgrades (IGI / GIA / GJEPC): Add 7–15 business days to the processing time, as the certification process is conducted by the independent lab.
Processing time is separate from transit time. Once your order is despatched, the carrier-specific delivery timelines in Sections 2 and 3 apply.
2. Domestic Shipping — Across India
2.1 Free shipping pan-India
We offer free standard shipping on all orders to addresses within India, with no minimum order value. This applies to all PIN codes serviced by our courier partners.
2.2 Carriers
Domestic shipments are despatched via Delhivery and Amazon Shipping, depending on shipment value, destination PIN serviceability and operational availability. The specific carrier assigned to your order will be communicated to you via your shipping confirmation email and account dashboard, along with the tracking number.
2.3 Delivery timelines
Standard delivery timelines from despatch:
- Metro cities (Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad): 3–5 business days
- Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities: 4–6 business days
- Remote and non-metro PIN codes: 5–7 business days
- Extreme-remote PIN codes (parts of North-East, J&K, Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep): 7–10 business days
These timelines are estimates and not guarantees. Delivery may be delayed by factors beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to courier-partner operations, regional weather, local festivities, public holidays, government restrictions, and address-related issues.
3. International Shipping
3.1 Eligible countries
We currently ship to the following countries as our primary served markets: India, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, United Arab Emirates, Singapore and Malaysia. We also ship to many other countries through our cross-border partner network on request — please contact us at shipping@thevediccrystals.com to confirm eligibility, transit time and shipping charges for your destination.
Shipping is not available to countries subject to applicable Indian export restrictions or to countries with prohibitive import restrictions on gemstones, jewelry or spiritual products.
3.2 Carrier
International shipments are despatched via Shipglobal, our cross-border shipping partner, which routes shipments through underlying carriers including DHL Express, FedEx International, ARAMEX and India Post International (EMS) depending on destination, weight and service level selected. The specific carrier assigned to your shipment will be communicated to you in the shipping confirmation, along with international tracking.
3.3 Delivery timelines
International transit time varies by destination, with the following typical ranges from the date of despatch:
- Fast-lane destinations (UAE, Singapore, Malaysia, UK, USA major cities): 7–10 business days
- Standard destinations (USA other cities, Canada, Australia): 10–15 business days
- On-request destinations (other countries served via our cross-border partner network): up to 25 business days, varies by destination
International transit timelines are inclusive of customs clearance at the destination, which is typically the largest source of variability. Delivery may be further delayed by destination-country customs processes, local courier handover, address-verification requirements or any other factor outside our control.
3.4 International shipping charges
International shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the destination country, total order weight (including packaging) and the volumetric dimensions of the shipment. Charges are displayed clearly before payment is confirmed.
4. Prepaid Orders Only — No Cash on Delivery
All orders on thevediccrystals.com are prepaid only. We do not currently offer Cash on Delivery (COD) for any product category, domestic or international.
Accepted payment methods include:
- Domestic (via PhonePe): Credit cards, debit cards, UPI, net banking, digital wallets.
- International (via PayPal): Credit and debit cards, PayPal account balance.
Once your payment is successfully confirmed, your order moves into our processing queue per the timelines in Section 1.
5. Tracking Your Shipment
Every shipment from Vedic Crystals is fully trackable. Once your order is despatched, you will receive:
- A shipping confirmation email with the carrier name, tracking number and estimated delivery date.
- An SMS notification on your registered mobile number with the tracking link.
- A WhatsApp notification on your registered WhatsApp number (where opted in), with the tracking link and delivery updates.
- Live tracking visible in your account dashboard on the Site.
You can also track your shipment directly on the courier partner's website using the tracking number provided.
6. Packaging Security & Discretion
We understand that the products you order from us are valuable and personal. Every shipment is packaged with the following safeguards:
- Discreet outer packaging: No external branding mentioning "Vedic Crystals", "gemstone", "jewelry" or any related word appears on the outer parcel, courier label or invoice envelope. The shipping label carries only the bill-to and ship-to address and our generic sender name (Royalhub Products).
- Tamper-evident sealing: All shipments are sealed with tamper-evident security tape that visibly shows if the parcel has been opened in transit.
- Inner protective packaging: Gemstones and jewelry are placed in individual padded cases or boxes, with appropriate cushioning to protect against impact damage during transit.
- Original certificates included: Lab certificates accompanying gemstones are sealed within the inner package, not visible on the outside.
7. High-Value Shipments — Additional Safeguards
For shipments with an invoice value of ₹50,000 or above (domestic) or equivalent value (international), we apply the following additional safeguards:
- Signature on delivery: The courier will require a signature from the recipient or an authorised person at the delivery address. The parcel will not be left at the doorstep, with a neighbour or with reception without explicit signature.
- Declared-value insurance: The shipment is insured under our courier partners' declared-value coverage up to the full invoice value, against loss or damage in transit.
- Premium service tier: High-value domestic shipments are typically routed via Delhivery's premium service tier for handling integrity; international high-value shipments are routed via DHL Express or FedEx International through Shipglobal.
- Verification call: For domestic orders above ₹1,00,000, our team may make a verification call to the recipient's registered phone number prior to despatch.
8. Risk and Title
Risk of loss and title to the products pass to you upon delivery as confirmed by our courier partner. Until that point, Royalhub Products (OPC) Private Limited bears the risk of loss or damage in transit, subject to the conditions of insurance coverage and the safeguards set out in this Policy.
9. Failed Delivery, Refused Parcels & Return-to-Origin
Our courier partners typically attempt delivery 3 times before returning the shipment to our origin. If your shipment cannot be delivered after 3 attempts due to:
- The recipient being unavailable at the address;
- The address being incorrect, incomplete or not accessible;
- Refusal of delivery by the recipient;
- Failure to respond to the courier's contact attempts;
… the shipment will be returned to our origin and treated as a "Return to Origin" (RTO).
9.1 If you would like to receive the parcel after RTO
You may request re-despatch of the parcel by contacting us within 7 days of the RTO. The customer is responsible for paying the forward-shipping cost incurred on the original failed attempt and the new despatch cost. We will share a quote, and on receipt of payment, we will re-despatch the parcel.
9.2 If you do not want re-despatch after RTO
If you choose not to request re-despatch, we will treat the order as cancelled and process a refund per the cancellation terms in our Refund Policy, less the actual courier-incurred shipping costs (both forward and return) and the non-refundable payment gateway charges (2% domestic / 5% international).
This policy applies equally to prepaid domestic and international orders.
10. Lost in Transit
If your shipment shows no tracking movement for more than 7 business days (domestic) or 10 business days (international), please contact us at shipping@thevediccrystals.com. We will initiate an investigation with the courier partner.
If a shipment is confirmed lost by the courier partner:
- For shipments covered by carrier insurance or our declared-value coverage, we will either reship the same item (subject to availability of the specific gemstone or matching design) or process a full refund of the invoice value at your election.
- For loose gemstones, where the specific stone may be unique, we will offer to ship a comparable replacement stone with your written approval, or a full refund if no comparable stone is available.
- For custom jewelry, we will discuss whether to remake the piece (subject to incremental timeline) or refund.
11. Damaged Shipments
If you receive a parcel that appears damaged on arrival, or if the gemstone or jewelry inside is damaged, we require an unboxing video showing:
- The sealed parcel as received, with all courier labels visible;
- The complete opening of the parcel from sealed state to fully unwrapped;
- The condition of the item immediately on opening.
The unboxing video must be a single, uninterrupted recording. Please email it along with photographs of the damaged parcel and item to shipping@thevediccrystals.com within 48 hours of delivery, with your order number in the subject line. The full replacement and claim process is set out in our Refund Policy, Section 4.
12. International Customs, Duties & Restrictions
International orders are subject to the customs regulations of the destination country. By placing an international order, you confirm and accept that:
- Customs duties, VAT, import taxes and any local levies imposed by your destination country are your responsibility and are not included in our pricing or shipping charges. These will typically be collected by the courier at the time of delivery or by the destination customs authority.
- Import permissibility — you are responsible for confirming that the import of gemstones, gemstone jewelry, rudraksha and energised spiritual products is permitted under your country's laws and at your specific delivery address.
- Customs documentation — you will provide accurate identification (passport, national ID, GST/VAT registration as required by the destination) to enable customs clearance where requested by our courier partner. Failure to provide required documentation may delay or prevent delivery.
- Customs seizure or return — Vedic Crystals is not liable for orders held, seized, returned to origin or destroyed by destination-country customs authorities due to local import restrictions, failure to provide required documentation or any other customs-related issue. Shipping charges and export charges paid on such orders are non-refundable.
- Returns from non-clearance — if a parcel is returned to us due to customs non-clearance, refusal by you to pay applicable duties, or incorrect address at your end, the failed-delivery process in Section 9 will apply, with the actual shipping and customs-handling costs deducted from any refund.
13. Public Holidays & Force Majeure
Our despatch and the carriers' delivery operations may be affected by:
- National, state and local public holidays in India (the origin country) and in the destination country;
- Major festivals (Diwali, Holi, Eid, Christmas, etc.) which typically cause courier-network slowdowns;
- Adverse weather events including monsoon flooding, cyclones, heavy snowfall;
- Government-imposed restrictions, lockdowns, port strikes, customs hold actions;
- Any other force majeure event as defined in our Terms of Service, Section 23.
During such periods, despatch and delivery timelines may extend beyond the standard ranges set out in this Policy. We will communicate any material impact on your order via email or WhatsApp where reasonably practicable.
14. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Shipping & Delivery Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our carrier partnerships, rates, country coverage or operational practices. The version published on this page is the version that applies at the time you place an order. We recommend reviewing this Policy before each order.
